When the internal rust is not removed, it will continue to rot out the machine from the inside out. We have used this information to go above and beyond any of the other restorers, And undercoat the inside of these machines, once we get them repaired. And we are also using a batted insulation as opposed to a non batted like the factory did. Our Professional restorations also include blasting the old galvanizing off. Inside the cabinet liners and shelves. And powder coating all those internal components. We have always felt that it was important to maintain the original refrigeration unit and vending mechanisms whenever possible to maintain the antique integrity of the vintage soda machine. The same way you would hope to get a numbers matching vintage vehicle. You would find detailed documentation on my website if I was allowed to share that with you. But ebay also prohibits me from sharing my website with you.
