Vintage Collins Hudson Bay Pattern 3.5 lb Single Bit Axe

Description: Very Nice Collins axe, weighs in on my kitchen scale at 3 lb 8oz and still has some of the handle in the head so I'm saying it's about 3 1/2 lbs. I started to take the cutoff broken handle piece out of the eye but changed my mind because it's got what looks like an aluminum wedge that's probably factory because there's not much wear on this axe and figured a buyer might like it. The only thing stopping me from cleaning/restoring this axe up is the remains of the Collins sticker on the head. There's either a stamp I can't make out or manufacturing flaw by the poll/butt. There's a flaw by the beard also that looks from the factory. The poll has slightly mushrooming with light grinding or sanding. There's a nice sanding over the whole head that appears factory. There's slight chipping on the cutting edge that'll clean up easily with a file before sharpening. It's not a truly flat one sided sharpening but it looks like whomever had this pretty much just sharpened the left side of the blade. See photos for details.
