Description: I'm just going to lead in with the unique part of the set. The right side checker holder is larger than the left side. I have a really good image that shows this. The left side is 2.56" and the right side is 3". This means that to close the lid you need to put one extra checker on the right side. I've seen an identical brown set with this exact same thing. I don't know if it was a manufacturer thing or that's just how they made them that year. See images from the Simi-chrome test. The checkers are BakeliteAll the red dice are Bakelite and assumed to be originalThe white dice are not nor are the cups.I knew the white dice weren't original since they were smaller but I thought I'd check for Bakelite anyway. The case is beautiful. I'm not sure it was ever played with. The cork is in great shape as is the case.See all images, there's a few issues on the corners and edges and the metal hinges have some age as well.Also the material of the handle has a crack in it so I wouldn't lift it by that. (see images). Lastly there was a backgammon book included in the set. I'm not sure if it originally came with the set or not.There is an inscription in the book. See images. It has one key that is included and the locks work fine. Checkers are about 1.25"Dimensions are approx. 15.5" x 12.5" x 3"
