Description: Very pretty vintage Spanish Damascene Brooch / Pin Circa 1950s. Real gold foil pressed into a floral design in oxidized black / dark brown metal. Pin has a trombone clasp and an openwork filigree border. Unsigned, from Toledo Spain.Very versatile. Wear in any direction. Would look lovely on a blouse, jacket, dress, or scarf. Size: 2" by 1-1/4" Condition: Pin is in good vintage condition. There is slight wearing of color on the gold tone filigree border. The genuine gold foil pressed into the flowers and swirls of the oxidized metal is all intact. Metal is held securely in place by four prongs. Very little wear or surface scratches on the back of the brooch.
