Description: This is a wonderful vintage December 1972 issue of The Evanstonian, Evanston Township High School’s Newspaper. I found it in the Evanston estate of Robert R. Jones. The paper has great ads of places I remember such as Just Pants. The newspaper is in acceptable vintage condition, it has rips, one piece ripped out, and it is quite discolored. For a bit of history, Robert R. Jones mother Marie was the great great granddaughter of the Potawatomi missionary Robert Simerwell. Her great grandmother was Elizabeth Simerwell Carter, the first white female born in Kansas.
