Description: I got this from a history teacher friend who said it dated back to the 60s, maybe the 50s, but it's only his word I have on that. Defiance branded (Annin Co.) and 100% cotton bunting, not the shiny NYL-GLO nylon stuff. I'm not sure just how saturated a shade of blue the field is supposed to look, so it's possible that it's a bit faded, but overall condition is very strong, and the brass grommets still look nice and shiny, and there are no rips, tears, or obvious stains. (Actually, I think there are no stains at all.) Look at the pics! Flag measures around 58" or 58.5" long (maybe 57", not sure if I'm supposed to count the header when giving the dimensions) by around 32.5 or 33 inches wide. This is a big flag. See pics - my son is around 6'1", and that's a queen-sized bed the flag is unfolded on. I suppose since it's cotton it could be ironed, but I'm not gonna do it.
