Description: Vintage DORA KUHN Hand-Painted BLUE Wood Dollhouse LIVING ROOM SET- 5 Pieces total This auction is for a hard-to-find BLUE set of VINTAGE DORA KUHN HAND-PAINTED WOOD LIVING ROOM SET. Dora Kuhn dollhouse furniture is made in West Germany. The beautiful blue Living room set is decorated in the Bavarian / German folk art style known as Bauernmalerei - roughly "peasant painting" styling. The colors give the furniture a wonderfully rustic look, perfect for furnishing a rural farmhouse or as an heirloom piece. The seats on the chairs and sofa are thinly upholstered with the classic red-and-white checked or gingham pattern that is associated with the Dora Kuhn styling. The set includes a traditional bench style sofa, two armchairs, a rocking chair and a matching end table with a door that opens and closes. Dora Kuhn wooden dollhouse furniture is well known for its sturdiness and classically beautiful Bavarian charm. Perhaps you would like to add this set to your doll house or Dora Kuhn collection. The sofa bench measures approximately 4 ½ inches across the front, 2 ½ inches deep and stands 3 inches tall. The armchairs measure approximately 2 inches across the front, 2 ½ inches deep and stand 3 inches tall. One is slightly larger than the other. The rocking chair measures approximately 2 inches across the front, 3 inches deep and stands 3 inches tall. The end table measures approximately 2 ¼ inches across the front, 1 ¾ inches deep and stands 2 ½ inches tall. All pieces are colorful and bright with no major scratches noted. The upholstery cushions are loose. They could be glued back in place or replaced with a different cushion more to your liking. Two of the pieces are faintly marked “Made in West Germany” on the bottom. Antique, vintage, or/and used ITEMS could have typical wear and tear given their age.
