Vintage Effanbee 21" All Composition Anne Shirley Doll

Description: Vintage Effanbee Anne Shirley Composition Doll from the 1940s/1950s. She is in great condition. Her face has little to no crazing, the paint on her lips has slightly worn off, her gold sleep eyes work well and still have all of the upper eyelashes. The lower, painted-on lashes look great also. Her painted eyebrows are light brown and a little faint. Her light brown wig also still looks really good. Her body also has little to no crazing, slight rubs at the joints and a little scratch on the buttocks. Her stringing is loose. The biggest disappointment is that it appears she has two fingers on her right hand broken and repaired. She is marked on her upper back “EFFANBEE // ANNESHIRLEY”. She is wearing a really cute dress and matching hat that are both in great shape and some panties that complement the dress (held together with a safety pin and not in great shape). Her socks and shoes look really good with some wear on the bottom of the left shoe. Her shoes match the trim on her dress. Her tag says she came with an extra outfit but we cannot locate it. She was owned by a doll collector and was displayed in a cabinet behind glass in an airconditioned room in a smoke free home.
