NEWARK NJ Multi Blade Fly Fishing Pocket Knife c.1900 A rare vintage multi blade fly fishing knife with mother of pearl scales and fancy tooled nickel silver liners. There are two knife blades, scissors, corkscrew, nail file and the telltale needle point blade used to clean paint from fly hook eyes. Primary blade stamped: ELECTRIC CUT. Co. NEWARK N.J. (The Newark designation dates this knife 1890-1910. Moved to Walden N.Y. in 1910.) Secondary blade stamped: ELECTRIC. Other tools stamped with two-digit numbers. Size: 3 1/8" closed All blades and tools are in excellent unused condition with good snap and no wobble. Fit and finish is second to none. The scales show tight hairlines at the shield and near the corkscrew on back side. Scissor spring is absent.
