This set is comprised of three pieces, 2 curtains and one valance ~ ~ I purchased these from a small museum in France that was deaccessioning some of their collections~ I have another larger matching set at the time of listing, to view simply search my store for the words " vivid chinoiserie" ~ the pattern is so so beautiful ~ so very very European ~ These curtains are English and the woman that I purchased them from dated them exactly to 1954. ~ So very very elegant ~ this curtain uses the most wonderful , printed chintz fabric, with a remarkably beautiful pattern! The pattern is inspired by many 18th century patterns that were coming out of Asia at the time. The fabric is cotton, medium to heavy weight ~ The tone of the ground is medium fresh tone ( the photographs vary as the sheen of the fabric reflects light, so can be difficult to photograph, however the darker of the flesh tone is accurate ~ and the colors used in the pattern are sooo wonderful! Blue, purple greens, oranges, reds and white ~*~ This curtain is backed in cotton and the top has curtain tape for hanging. Ideal for hanging as is but also lovely to repurpose into upholstery, pillows, smaller curtains etc ~*~ MEASUREMENTS: Each of the wonderful curtains measures approximately 103 inches long by 49 inches wide at the bottom ~ the top can be drawn in or let out as wide as possible~ The valance measures approximately 80 inches wide by 23 inches deep at the deepest point of the festoon ~ CONDITION: This curtain has been left in as found, not freshly laundered condition ~ there are some tiny age marks here and there, mostly on the backing! There are light signs of time and use on this curtain, however generally wonderful , but not without signs of time and use often inherent in these wonderful vintage textiles! ~*~ Inventory : A 1025
