Description: Vintage Extendable Bristol Homaco Steel Spin Casting Fishing Rod USA For sale at a buy it now fixed price is this vintage rod. It is a Homaco Rod made in Bristol Connecticut....sometimes called a Bristol Rod. It is tubular steel. It compresses to 4 feet and pulls out to make an 8 1/2 foot rod. It has two of the "ruby" lined eyes plus the tip top..which is missing the ring part of the eye. Eyes are soldered on. It has a cork handle and it is fully marked. Condition is used. The tip top eye is damaged..as described above. It would not be difficult to put a new tip top on but we leave that decision to the buyer. The cork grip has some wear but is intact. I don't think there was much in the way of finish on the rod originally but if so it has worn. Only a small portion of the logo remains on the side of the steel but it is marked on the reel seat.
