This fine hunting trapper knife was made by Fury in Seki, Japan circa 1990s and is identical to the A.G. Russell AG-102 also made in the late 1990s. The 4 1/2" trapper features beautiful mirror polished AUS-8 blades with excellent snap opening and closing and at half-way, nickel silver bolsters, and Ebony handles. The hook if very thick. This was produced for Fury by Tak Fukuta who was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others.
