Description: The GD stands for E. Gerard et Dufraiuseix. The A stands for Abbott who was the importer and distributor for these wares in NYC. GD had bought Charles Haviland around 1882. GD added A in 1901 and used that mark until 1941. This lovely soft muted colors of mint green and pale rose pink on those teacup and saucer are intact and lovely. The contrasting gold painted handle is bright and intact. The bottom of the saucer and teacup have the typical wear of being used but in overall very good condition without chips or cracks. The bone China makes this delicate teacup light and fragile. A beautiful addition to any collector. Please see photos for description and condition.
