Description: This is a vintage GE Sentry Search 40-40 Channel Transceiver (Walkie Talkie) Model No. 3-5979C in good used condition. This radio does light up and I do hear static, however I did not hear anyone talking. The antenna is intact and rises and lowers flawlessly. The antenna measures approximately 3 feet when fully erect. This transaction also includes Use and Care Guide, the original warranty paper (Not filled out), and a vintage paper Plain English Rules---Citizens Band Radio Service prepared by the Federal Communications Commission, Washington, D.C. These papers all have folds in them but, the print on them are very clear and easy to read. These papers are intact without any tears. This radio was made in Malaysia.
