Description: This is a vintage pincushion in the style of a high back chair. The material is red gingham. The original pins in the back have been left in it as well as the items inside the storage of the seat. As you can see in the photos the seat lifts up and inside include a package of vintage thread, a leather holder for a vintage set of scissors, a plastic wedding boutonniere with bird seed wrapped individually and attached, and two paper name tags with the name Helen Jones. Vintage pin cushions come in many variations but this is the first high back chair I have ever seen! Collectors of sewing equipment and those who repair vintage clothing will want to get their hands on that vintage thread set as well as this unique item. The chair sits 12 in high and 7 in wide there is storage for scissors on the back of the chair and two pouches on each side of the chair to put items you're currently working on like specific colors of bobbin thread. This is clearly a practical item as well as being beautiful and unique.
