Description: Vintage Henninger-Brau, Frankfurt .5L Beer Krug (Stein). This logo dates to the 1960's. The Henninger brewery traces it's roots back to 1655 in Eberhard Stein's brew house. Located in Frankfurt's Sachsenhausen district, they became nationally know through the international bike race around the Henninger Tower of the brewery. The logo includes the Eschenheimer Turm, the late medieval city gate fortification leading into Frankfurt, between the H & B. Sold over the years Henninger-Brau AG is a subsidiary of the Radeberger Group. This stein is glazed stoneware and stands approx. 5" high, holding .5L. As noted, this logo and stein date back to the 1960's. It is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. Please see all photos as they are part of the description.
