Description: This set includes four vintage Athearn 40' box cars likely manufactured in the 1970s. They all have plastic trucks with plastic wheels and metal axles and springs. The bottom metal plates and axles have been polished and oiled, the trucks and wheels were refurbished, and broken couplers have been replaced.Car 1: DELAWARE & HUDSON, D & H 18263 with vibrant colors on both faces of the car and in very good condition.Car 2: STATE OF MAIN, B.A.R 5206 with with vibrant colors on both faces of the car and in very good condition.Car 3: THE HOOSIER LINE, C.I.L. 3029 with with vibrant colors on both faces of the car and in very good condition.Car 4: BM, B M 74005, with with vibrant colors on both faces of the car and in very good condition.All couplers and brake wheels are intact. The cars all display beautifully. Please review the pictures carefully before you buy to make sure you know what you are getting. I have displayed pictures at all angles.
