Description: This lovely vintage cut glass humidor can double as a decorative biscuit jar or dressing table jar. Made of beautifully cut glass with a silver (I belive plated) lid embossed with a charming cherub holding a rose. Two additional roses and another flower swirl across the lid with a circle of elegant beading completing the design. Simply breathtaking! The piece is likely an antique but I am unable to date it. Under the lid is the bar that would have held a damp sponge for humidor use. The only mark is "SILVER" along the angel's wing (see pictures). Measures 5 3/4" tall (with lid on) x 4" diameter. Weighs 1 lb 10 oz. This lovely piece is in excellent condition. The top edge and sides are perfect, there is some very slight chipping/fleabiting on the very bottom's edge only, as would be expected.
