Description: This item is from the living estate of a collector for over 70 years of random things. Thus her seller's name, Pack Rat's Nest, which was bestowed upon her by her children. She has finally decided to divest of her many treasures so her children don't have to deal with it when she has transitioned on to her reward! All items will be described as best possible; they will be sold as is. This vintage piece, made in Japan, is a skunk standing by a tree stump, possibly smoking a pipe?, planter or toothpick holder. This whimsical piece is made in the style of many during that period, where the animals were a little weird looking. My sister was sure this was a dog, in fact! This piece would be a great addition to a collector of Japanese ceramic/porcelain, animal art, toothpick holders, or small planters. This would be a conversation starter for sure!
