Description: Vintage Japanese 1944 Ten Sen Coin Chrysanthemum & Paulownia Showa Year 19 This 1944 copper nickel alloy coin features the imperial chrysanthemum mon (family crest) with the "ten sen" mark as well as the leaves and flowers of the paulownia tree. On the obverse, it has the characters, "Dai Nippon" (great Japan) and the date: Showa year 19 (1944). About the size of a nickel (2.2 cm) and in good vintage condition.
