Description: Oooh this guy! He’s a mid century cast iron owl figurine crafted in a brutalist style. The owl is made in 2 pieces with a painted green verdigris and gold leaf. The surface has been textured. The top piece has 2 prongs which keep it in place on top of the bottom half. A fantastic piece of mcm table sculpture that can function either as a candle holder or an incense burner. You can find this on other online retailers selling for 3 or 4 times as much!!! This little guy is on the heavy side, weighing about 2.1 lbs. Material is cast iron with mottled finish - bits of verdigris and gold paint. Dimensions: approx. 4”L x 3 1/2”W x 5”H. Very good vintage condition. Patina as shown. Priced per condition.
