The pendant is made of 14K yellow gold and features a lovely four-sided, faceted red-colored garnet stone and four (4) nice white channel set round diamonds that sparkle nicely in the light. Joseph is a very talented jewelry maker and this is a very high-quality piece of fine jewelry. Please note: There is no neck chain included in this sale; the neck chain shown in some of the photos is for illustration of how the pendant looks on a neck chain only. The artists card that is shown in my photos is also part of this sale. The pendant in my photos is the actual one you will receive. Please be sure to read the “AGE AND CONDITION” and “APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS” paragraphs below.This is just a stunning pendant!I want to be clear that I am not an expert on jewelry. I have purchased many pieces of high quality fine jewelry like this one over the years for my personal use and am in the process of selling off some of the pieces that I don’t often wear anymore. I have not had the pendant tested or examined by a jeweler and I am stating what I honestly believe to be true about this pendant based on information I received from Mr. Cyberski at the time I bought the pendant. I always tried to buy from what I believed to be reputable sources and have enjoyed these pieces immensely over the years.As mentioned above I am not a jeweler or gemologist but I am an honest person and will give my best honest estimate on the size of the stones. Using a loupe and a ruler graduated in millimeters, I did my best to accurately measure the stones. The four (4) diamond solitaire stones are each approximately 2.2 mm in diameter. The tapered garnet stone is cut and faceted and measures approximately 10 mm top to bottom by about 8 mm wide at the bottom, where it is the widest. The pendant is signed only “14K” on the back side.IMPORTANT: The pendant has an opening for a neck chain that is approximately .125” (or about .3 mm) square, so please take this into consideration when you consider the purchase of this piece; you want to be sure your chain will fit this opening. I bought this pendant new from Joseph at the Columbus, Ohio, Winterfair in 2000 and as the case with all of my fine jewelry has been well cared for by me since then in my smoke free home.I do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible and to the best of my ability. Some of my photos may be somewhat lighter or darker than actual to better show detail or color. The pendant is in near mint original condition. Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of this item. In looking the pendant over with a loupe, I see only some very light signs of use to the gold and no dings to the diamonds or the garnet. None of this is visible to me without the use of a loupe and is exactly what I would expect to see on a gently used piece of jewelry like this – see my photos. There may also be some minor tarnish to the gold, as expected on an older piece like this. Other than what I have mentioned I see no problems with the pendant. It is beautiful and ready to wear. Please keep in mind these photos may be blown up at least 8-10 times normal, so anything you see will look 8-10 times larger in the photos than it really is.Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece.
