Description: This hard to find King Seiko 5626-7030 sports a beautiful and unique contoured case embodies the mature "Grammar of Design" distinctive of the height of Seiko's golden age. Manufactured in Japan circa 1970, this men's watch boasts a mechanical automatic movement with certified chronometer recently serviced. The silver dial with applied Seiko brand and indices is in good condition with some blemishes between 8 and 11 o'clock. The impressive 38mm stainless steel case with solid caseback is truly stunning on the wrist. Overall the case is in great shape with modest signs of wear. Bezel has tool marks on right and left sides. Original gold medallion has some material loss and is coated with a UV resin to prevent further wear. Original mineral crystal has evident surface scratches but otherwise good clarity.
