Description: Lovely vibrant Silk brocade. We believe body of work to be silk possibly mixed with cotton. Detailed vintage Sabai or pha biang Believe the the specific technic to be Laotian preawa or queen of silk weaving. Skilled artisan workmanship. Lovely vibrant multi color way. Body of work is red with black fringe. Some lose threads , snags and pulls indicative of a vintage textile. They do not detract but lend to a true vintage textile aesthetic. Some fold lines and wrinkles. As we were packing this up and doing final Inspection we did see one hole please see last two picture showing same area. Hand Knotting and threads (to construct detailed brocade displayed on frontside ) can be seen on backside. Fringe is approximately 3” in length.
