Description: This is a Vintage jar of Marcelle Cosmetics Hypo-Allergenic Cleansing Cold Cream. Marcelle appears to have been out of Chicago Illinois at the time this jar was produced. According to their website, in 1933 Dr Phil Blazer, an allergist by trade, acquired Marcelle and became a North American Pioneer of hypoallergenicity. So, that would put the age of this jar as being after 1933. The milk glass jar still has it's original labels attached. It is in good vintage pre-owned condition. Does show normal signs of wear consistent with age and storage. Appears there has been some shrinkage over the years to the actual product. However, it is still in the jar.
