Description: Vintage McDermott Prototype Pool Cue 1990 E-K Series D Series Unchalked Straight. This is a 1 of 1 E-series prototype made during the D-series run. 1990. Obviously it was not put into production. 1-off factory McDermotts are very rare and very expensive. Custom models are usually at least 10 cues made. Mint condition. Never chalked. Stained Birdseye Maple forearm. These photos do not do it justice. It is very nice. 4 floating recon Ivory points with intricate inlays. Black Onyx sleeve. 32 intricate recon Ivory inlays. Black with double white speckles Irish Linen wrap. Joint collar rings are unusual index rings that I've never seen on a McDermott cue. Stainless steel 5/16x14 joint. 20.7 oz. with a 1.5 oz. bolt. I can lower it to 19.7 oz. if you request. Old style bumper. 12.70mm tip. 58" Made in U.S.A. Includes a free McDermott soft case in mint condition. Nice case with a handle and a pocket.
