Description: You are looking at a vintage, Mid-century-modern, Christmas music box. This has a little Santa Elf on a train and a section for children to "mail" their letters to Santa. It has a hole for hanging, and plays the song "Jingle Bells". It is stiff cardstock covered in felt, bric-brac, braided trim, and rhinestones. There are 2 places that I can see wear, but one is hidden behind the elf's shoe sole, and the other is on the top back edge, out of sight. It looks like the words "Merry Christmas" were in gold on the front panel at one time, but has since faded. Made in Japan.
