Description: Vintage MCM Whiskey Glasses - Double Old Fashioned - Square Base - Set of 6 RARE This is a set of 6 vintage double old fashioned glasses that look in appearance like the Mikasa Quartz pattern. Beautiful, chunky glasses with an icy textured effect and a heavy square base. They are 4 inches tall and hold approximately 10 oz of liquid. These glasses have the look of melting ice cubes with square bases, and dimples on each of the four sides. Solid weight with thick bottoms. Manufactured for only two years, these are difficult to find. Please note: these are vintage and seem older than the Mikasa Quartz pattern, but they look identical to that particular Mikasa glassware style. These glasses are approx. 50 years old - Mid Century Modern. In very good condition. The glasses feel nice in the hand - solid, and the indentations on each side make it easier to hold them. Some photos taken with black surface to more easily see the glass and the patterning. The glasses do weigh a bit more than some other glassware, so shipping will be a bit more, The glasses were priced to take into consideration the shipping weight. Local pick up in Sonoma County, CA.
