Description: Up for sale is this amazing vintage BWC (Buttes Watch Company) Chronograph. This watch is in excellent condition for its age and is a fantastic example of this relatively rare model. Sometimes referred to as a "poor man's Heuer," this watch is a lot like an early Heuer Carrera ref 3647 but at a fraction of the price. In the 60s, Heuer produced and assembled watches for a number of other brands, including Hamilton, Clebar, Zodiac, Vantage, Buren, Tradition etc. Condition: Case is in excellent shape with some minor scratches associated with strap changes, the sunburst dial shines beautifully and the original lume is perfectly preserved. Service: Unknown service history, winding and setting the time are very smooth, the chrono is working as it should and resets perfectly, pushers work crisply.
