Description: This small desk lamp which includes original product tab is a reissue of the original "Lytegem" lamp, which was 1st produced in the 1960s by Lightolier and designed by Michael Lax. Due to the popularity and demand of Michael Lax "Lightolier" lamp, the company reissued the small desk lamp in 2004. It has an orb shaped matte taupe metal shade, adjustable telescoping/rotating arm and plastic black cube base with an on/off switch and 2 working brightness levels. This is a high intensity mini lamp that became a big commercial success and an addition to the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC, USA. Its form drew inspiration from modern Scandinavian design, emphasizing functionality and simplicity. Its shape consists of a small black box for its base, with an adjustable telescoping rod, topped with a round orb-shaped shade. The base is 2.5 inches in length, width and height. The head of the lamp is around 3 inches in diameter.Height can be adjusted to between 6-15" inches. Power cord is approximately 7 feet in length.
