Description: Vintage 1960's Monterrey Western Ware "Chuckwagon Cowboy" Enamelware Dinner Plate. Measures 10.25 inches in diameter and is 1" high at rim with an 8 inch in diameter recessed 1/2" deep diameter to keep food on the plate. Scene of a chuckwagon with a cook making vittles over the fire. Plate rim is surrounded by various Ranch Brands. This plate has been well used at Cow Camp. I purchased this out west in 1977 from an actual Chuckwagon and have had it on display in my Western Cowboy Kitchen ever since. Shows evident sign of wear but does not have any of the Enamel worn or chipped off. Looks great on display for Cowboy decor with plenty of Patina and Character.
