From what I can gather on the Internet, this company has been around since the 1880s. I believe this fabric made alpaca for is around 1920s. This is well made and to me in fabulous condition. I really can’t find anything wrong with it. Measures 69 x 47 It’s 53% alpaca wall and 43% cotton. It’s lighter brown, and one side than the other as you can tell from the photographs. It is soft, but to me alpaca wool is just that it is still wool. I have owned alpacas and it takes quite a lot to get their fiber to be super super soft. My father owned a 1931 Phaeton and if he was still alive and we still had that car, this would be the perfect accessory for it!! Also, from what I can find out, these are pretty rare.
