Description: For your consideration is a very scarce early (likely 1st) American edition of Douglas Jerrold's "Mrs. Caudle's Curtain Lectures". No stated printing date but it is inscribed in 1905. Overall superb condition, almost unread. Features a very vivid painted candle against a red backdrop on botht the covers and spine. Not something they make nowadays for sure. Top of the pages are also red to match. Aside from the inscription there is no writing, no missing or damaged pages, etc. For it's age, it may be the finest example available.
