Description: Vintage Necklace with Exotic Amulet! Brass Cylinder Pendulum, very much like some kind of East Asian bullet, all covered in scrollwork, hanging on a vintage 23” box link chain. Fashionable, retro necklace, exotic scrollwork design! This necklace was worn in downtown New York City for several decades. It came to the United States from East Asia in the early 80s, but it was already old then. The amulet which hangs on the necklace, looks a bit like a bullet to me, although it is actually a cylinder in the shape of a prayer wheel. Perhaps this is Tibetan in origin; I’m afraid I’m not sure. The chain itself is nice even though it’s not a precious metal. I guess it’s made of Brass , and it’s constructed in the box link design. It has a fairly standard spring clasp.
