Description: Vintage original NEW HOPE & IVYLAND RAILROAD steel metal sign from New Hope, Pennsylvania. This rare sign could very well be one of a kind!! The New Hope Railroad (reporting mark NHRR) is a shortline and heritage railroad located in New Hope, Pennsylvania. It operates excursion trips on an 18 mile line from New Hope to Ivyland Station using original steam (one dating to 1925) and diesel powered locomotives, and former Reading Company (RDG) passenger cars dating between 1914 and 1932. The line was purchased from Reading Company in 1966 and is also used for freight. This sign is from the New Hope station and I have not seen another like it before. Very good overall condition with beautiful graphics and colors. Small chips, scratches and other light wear to the original paint from age and use as shown, but still displays beautifully!! Measures about 18.25” x 12”. See pics for more details.PLEASE VISIT MY EBAY STORE: (Click Below)Antiques and Rustic Charms | eBay Stores
