Description: Vintage PERUVIAN Peru ALPACA Wool Blanket Hanging Birds People w Raised Eyes TLC Up for sale is this Vintage or Antique PERUVIAN Peru ALPACA Wool Blanket or wall hanging with Birds and Figures with Raised Eyes. I'm not certain of the age of this blanket but it looks to be very old and made on a hand loom (given the seam down the center). I think this is from Peru. This has the same pattern on both sides and is reversible. Condition: This blanket is in fair to good condition with some holes/tears (see 3rd to last and 2nd to last photos), a couple of seam separations at about 4 o'clock of an inner and outer curve (see 7th photo where I have held this up to the light to try to show these), fraying on the ends (see last photo), and some light staining here and there. I have not tried to clean it. Also, I think it is missing about 1/2 of the raised eyes. This has issues but it would be a great item to restore and hang. Measurements: It measures about 38" wide and 65" long.
