Description: Vintage Price Kensington Ye Olde Cottage Ware England Spice Jar Canister I collected this pattern for many years and have sold most of it off. I believe this is a spice jar canister and not a sugar bowl like I see being described and listed as a sugar bowl. If you look at the last photo I provided, you will see that the original sugar bowl had side handles. There is a chip on the underside of the lid and a glaze flake on one corner that looks like it was colored over at one time. See all photos. Green underglazed mark of Price Kensington Cottage Ware. Relief molded mark Made In England.Measures 3 7/8" tall to the finial on lid x 2 1/2" wide at the base. This Cottage Ware line is all hand painted so expect some variation in style, color and foliage surrounding the doors and windows of each piece.
