Description: This is a rare JB Hirsch Art Deco Collection Francaise lamp featuring a large female nude figurine holding a millefiori globe lamp. The figure is 13.25" long and about 7.5" tall. The millefiori globe is about 4.5" in diameter. The figurine is reclining on a 5" by 14" black wooden base. JB Hirsch manufactured many lamps in the Collection Francaise in the 1960s and 1970s using actual molds they recovered from the 1920s-1930s. The Collection Francaise logo is found on the backside of the nude casting near the power cord inlet as shown in the photograph. Most of the art deco molds that were used were from the Gerdago production series. I believe this particular lamp figurine is more in line with Frankart or Nuart deco figures, although I cannot be certain. In any event, it is a striking piece for the center focus of a display and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or dings as shown in the photographs. It is fully wired with a corded thumb switch. It would make a very unique addition to your collection.
