Description: Up for sale is a Beautiful Vintage Used 1970’s Black “The Stud Line” Football Game Helmet. I’ve only seen a few of these in my 35+ years of collecting and believe this was made by Gladiator. The helmet is in good shape with plenty of scratches and scrapes and has been painted black. (see photos). The size is not readable but I would guess a 6 7/8 to 7. On the left, you can see 3T82 and on the right, The Stud Line and a prancing Horse logo next to it. There’s a lot of writing on the webbing(Class of 73) and one of the suspension has been cut and another is half way cut through. (See photos) The are two cracks in the shell near where the jaw pads would go.(see photos) The front rubber snubber is missing and so are the jaw pads. (see photos) The helmet is intended for display purposes only and not to be used. The hat stands in the photos are not included with the sale.
