Description: Vintage Riihimaen Lasi Oy Finland Red Art Glass Decanter, MCM, Nanny Still. Beautiful red Art glass Decanter/decorative bottle from the early 1960's. This beautiful bottle appears to have been made in two stages with a thinner orange red bottle body wrapped with a deep red layer of glass and a circle of orange or yellow was applied at the opening. The four sides of the bottle have a slight concave shape, hard to see in photo. While it is not signed, it was designed in the period of artist Nanny Still and most similar bottles I've seen are also unsigned. There appears to be one small inner crack, second to last photo, which may have occurred in the layering process but is not through to the exterior of the glass. It is less than a 1/2" long. Some very light surface scratches, last photo, on bottom. This bottle was in my grandmother's collection with another blue Riihimaen piece, also listed. One owner.
