Description: This is a vintage poker caddy. It is 9 inches in diameter and has 12 slots for chips. There are two slots for playing cards. I do not believe the plane cards are original to the item. One set of playing cards is dated 1939. the body of the caddy appears to be made of bake light to mimic wood. The caddy sits upon a Lazy Susan wooden base. The wooden base has a slot head screw. Slot head screws were not used much after the late 30s as the Phillips head had taken hold. This caddy has a heavy cardboard cover. The cover shows significant wear, especially along the edges. The cover is designed so that the handle of the caddy fits through the cover and the entire thing can be carried at once. I’m not sure what the chips are made of it may be clay. I don’t think they are plastic. There are no marking on the chips. There are more white chips, than blue and red chips. however, there is a robust amount of chips in all three colors. The carousel shows wear. It has clearly been well used. But I find no major damage no cracks no chips no glue no repairs.
