This 1980’s era formal or prom dress is a stunning ball gown look fit for the belle of the ball. It’s an iridescent taffeta, in a deep shade of royal blue black that looks navy in the light. It’s a luxurious, rich color in a thicker retro acetate fabric. The silhouette is a southern belle style, with a sweetheart neckline, half sleeves with a puff on the shoulder and gathering that hits right above the elbow. There’s princess seaming, a v style waistline, with gathering that flares out to a full skirt. It’s tiered - shorter in the front than the back. The bodice back features a diamond shaped cut out, and a large bow in the center of the back. What makes this special: It has Dita Von Teese / Marilyn Manson wedding dress vibes.
