Description: Vintage Scotty Westie Sealyham Terriers Airedale Dogs LINEN TOWELS made into Bed Covering Throw 95" x 101" OOAKDESCRIPTION & CONDITION: This covering is One of a Kind made by me, JCR 2020 to 2022. Many of the pictures, the color is not true. It is Apple RED, Green, Black, Yellow, Blue. Over a period of 30 years, I collected linen dog towels of my favorite breeds. I collected and left them in a sealed container for years. Some were new and some were well used. I dreamed of what I could do with them or what I could make. The bed covering was in my mind but did not know how to execute it. Before COVID I came up with the idea and started planning. The towels are all different sizes and that created a big problem because I did not want to cut the towels. I had to have the outside edges straight. I placed one towel on top of another and stitched from the top. I am not a trained expert seamstress so you will find places that do not look that great especially around thick hems. Once I put them together, I had to have a border. That took several weeks to find something. I lost pictures from my phone so do not have a record of the fabric content of the border. It is a poly blend purchased from Joans fabric. I had one towel that was much smaller than the others. That is the one that says Scotland. I bought a beige towel new and pieced around the Scotland towel so I could use it. That is the only place were a towel was cut. Unlined. The border fabric cost about $35. I imagine this will only appeal to the passionate Scotty Westie Dog Lover. Please ask questions.SIZE: 95" x 101" over all.
