Description: A truly gorgeous Sheaffer pen with unique gold details shaped in a feather pattern engraved over the black enamel finish. The design is reminiscent of the Toledo technique used to decorate some of the most special pens in the world.Vintage circa late 80s to early 90s. It follows an elegant and slim silhouette that is finished with flat black inserts on the top and the bottom of the pen The pen features a slip-on cap that posts nicely giving the pen a longer length and balance while writing. It is fitted with a 14K gold medium-sized nib which has the “Sheaffer” branding name, “USA”, and “585” stamped on it. Length (pen closed): 135mm; Posted: 147mm. The pen is a great writer with a good balance and feel in the hand. This is a very practical pen to use because it can be converted to be filled from a bottle of ink (empty cartridge included to do this), but it can also be used with Sheaffer cartridges (one filled cartridge is included-while it is sealed it also vintage so not sure if it's still functional!)
