Description: Measures approximately 8 3/4 tall, 8 inches long, and 4 1/4 inches wide. Music box has been tested and works (see video). The metal ball near Santa's left leg can be pulled out diagonally to start the music after winding the side or pushed in to stop it. The cylinder on the bottom provides slow movement of the sled on a flat surface. Forward moving motion is slow and sometimes drifts to one side. Label below sled shows the music component is Swiss movement by Reuge and plays "Jingle Bells". Steinbach label below sled. Previous owner has written 1985 in black marker below the sled. This marking cannot be seen when the sled is sitting on a table. Light surface wear as seen in pictures. Santa's pocket and sack are currently empty. We are not certain if either originally came with any contents. The right rear wooden runner on sled has an old break and dried glue residue from a previous repair.
