Vintage Tamiya King Cab, Monster Racer, Astute, Madcap Gear Differential

Description: This is a custom manufactured gear differential for the following vintage Tamiya Cars King Cab HiLux Monster Racer Astute Madcap Saint Dragon (Original) This is an upgrade to the OEM ball differential this is notorious for slipping and forcing fans to shelve their cars. This upgrade differential uses Tamiya parts and internals with a custom machined end cap that allows the differential to be a drop in replacement for the ball differential found in the above cars. The gear is slightly small with 30 teeth (vs 31 teeth) but still provides a good gear mesh and ultimately allows you to deliver more power to the wheels without your differential slipping. The kit will come assembled dry and complete with internals and rubber sealed ABEC 3 bearings. All parts are new. You will need to use your preferred grease for the internals gears. You will also need to provide the OEM drive cups. Only comes with the differential as shown in the first photo. Does not include the drive cups or gearbox as shown for illustration purposes in the other photos. Custom adapter is manufactured in California USA.
