At this, and other outdoor roadside pottery yards, you could find Bauer, Metlox, Vernon, Red Wing, Franciscan, Brock, Poppytrail and many other wares. Most of these pottery yards are now gone, but were a common sight along the old hi-ways of California. This well-known one, located near Knotts Berry Farm, advertised 50% on 'seconds' (pottery with flaws or imperfections). The postcard's colorful scene illustrates how pricing and product (mostly outside) were set up back in the day.
