Description: Vintage Torquay Mottoware Child's Teapot Devon, England I started collecting Torquay 55 years ago and only collected for about 15 years, so all of the pieces I am listing are vintage pieces. This is an adorable child's teapot with the traditional English cottage and the motto "No path of flowers leads to glory" on the opposite side. The bottom is marked "Made in England". It is approximately 5 inches tall to the top of the knob on the lid. and the base is approximately 3 1/4 inches in diameter. It is in lovely condition with no chips or cracks. There are a couple of places on the bottom edge where the paint did not quite cover the red clay but it appears this was in the making as they are glazed over. (Please see photos.) There is all-over fine crazing as expected in an older piece. (Please see photos.) A sweet, vintage child's teapot for your Torquay collection or for a vintage child's tea set collector.
