Description: Duck characters identified as G.I. Joe (in Green) and G.I. Elmer (In Blue). G.I. Elmer is identified as G.I.Joe's Dad 1918. At the time of this toy's production, G.I. Elmer is outfitted as though working as a Defense Worker in WWII. This bird's coveralls have a circular design with a 45 on it. Great WWI and WWII tie-in collectible. With original stick, the toy measures approximately 24" long and the ducks are approximately 12" long x 4" wide. The wooden wheels are 4 1/4" in diameter. The masonite-like material that the birds are cut out of may be repurposed military material.
