What makes this trade edition unusual is the fact that is was rebound at some point during its library process. To be clear, this is a trade edition of the Hardy Boys published by Grosset and Dunlap but was rebound in red library cover. This will be a unique add to your Hardy Boys Collection. In depth condition review: The book is in good condition. The binding is solid and the cover is great. There is the tiniest white remnant of something on the front cover and a faint white area where a sticker was on the back (stickiness is gone). The corners and edges of the books have minimal wear. The upper page block has some writing on it with library information because this book is an ex-library copy. The side and lower page block are excellent. The pages are free of rips, tears, and dog-ears. There are a few places of writing on the inside cover before the text of the book starts. There is a fair amount of staining throughout the book as shown in several pictures. However, these are relatively minor and don't affect legibility. They extend throughout the book but aren't really noticeable. The back inside cover contains the library card with the first checkout date in 1986!
